Run events with paid RSVPs

Seminars, gradings, and in house comps are events, not weekly classes. Create one, let members RSVP, and if it costs money, collect that RSVP through the same payment rails as your dues.

Create an event

1. Open Community, then the Events tab.
2. Create the event with a date and details.
3. Set it free, or give it a price to charge for a seat.

Paid RSVPs ride your dues machine

A paid RSVP is collected the same way as dues, by the reconcile rail or PayPal, so the money lands where your other payments do and shows up in your revenue reports. You do not set up anything separate. See collect dues for how the rails work.
